What to Bring?

Bring only what you need; storage is limited. We provide beds, basic furniture, and shared kitchen/bath essentials. Your items will be checked in on arrival for safety and inventory.

Required Documents & Essentials

  • Government photo ID (driver’s license or state ID)

  • Insurance card (medical/Medicaid/HUSKY)

  • Emergency contacts (names, numbers, relationship)

  • Court / probation / parole paperwork (if applicable)

  • Current prescriptions (in original, labeled bottles or blister packs)

  • Phone & charger (portable power bank recommended)

  • Small lock for personal locker or lockbox

  • Refillable water bottle

Don’t have your ID or insurance card? We’ll help you request replacements and complete benefits reactivation during Week-1. If you’re starting Intensive Outpatient Treatment or PHP for Alcohol Treatment/Opiate Treatment/Drug Rehab, having ID and insurance ready speeds your intake.

Clothing & Footwear

Pack a simple capsule wardrobe; laundry is on site (coin-op).

  • 7–10 days of clothing suitable for group, job search, and light exercise

  • Workwear if employed or entering R2W (durable pants, shirts)

  • Closed-toe shoes (required), plus work-safe footwear if your job requires it (e.g., non-slip or steel-toe)

Toiletries & Personal Care

  • Toiletry bag with toothbrush/paste, soap/body wash, deodorant

  • Shampoo/conditioner (no alcohol-based products)

  • Razor & shaving cream, hairbrush/comb

  • Towel & washcloth (quick-dry recommended)

  • Laundry needs: small detergent pod bag, laundry bag/hamper

No alcohol-based items: Avoid colognes, aftershaves, mouthwash with alcohol, aerosols, CBD/THC products, or hemp/kratom. These will be confiscated and disposed.

Medications & Health Items

  • Bring only your own meds in original, clearly labeled containers (name, dose, prescriber).

  • MAT welcome. We coordinate methadone, buprenorphine/Suboxone®, naltrexone/Vivitrol® dosing with your OTP/prescriber.

  • No loose pills or pill organizers at check-in. We’ll help you transfer meds to approved packaging and set up safe storage/lockbox access.

  • No sharps without approval. If you require syringes or sharps (e.g., insulin), notify staff before arrival for safe storage and disposal planning.

Helpful for R2W & Recovery

  • Laptop or tablet for job search and R2W coursework (we have Wi-Fi; limited shared devices available)

  • Headphones for virtual IOP homework, career training modules, or guided meditation

  • Notebook & pen, planner or calendar app, small alarm clock

  • Simple padlock for bike (if you commute by bicycle)

Prohibited Items

To protect the community and comply with our substance-free, safety-first environment, do not bring:

  • Alcohol, illegal drugs, vaping devices, THC/CBD products, drug paraphernalia

  • Non-prescribed or misused prescription meds; herbal highs; kratom

  • Weapons (firearms, knives outside normal kitchen use, tasers, pepper spray)

  • Open flames/ignition sources (candles, incense, lighters left in rooms, hot plates, space heaters)

  • Large appliances/furniture (microwaves, mini-fridges, large TVs)

  • Gambling devices, explicit or violent materials, drones

  • Pets (approved service animals require documentation and prior approval)

Contraband at check-in will be declined and must be removed from property immediately or surrendered for disposal. Possession of prohibited items after check-in is a serious safety violation and may result in immediate termination of your housing license.

Property Limits & Storage

  • Storage is limited. One suitcase/duffel + small personal item is ideal.

  • Label everything with your name. Unlabeled items in common areas may be disposed of after notice.

  • Mail & packages: You may receive mail once fully admitted; no large shipments or furniture. Amazon/retail deliveries must be approved by staff.
