What “Structured, Supportive” Really Means

Welcome to Bridgeport Recovery House — Men. We’re a structured, non-clinical transitional sober living community in Bridgeport’s East/North End built for men who are serious about change. Your housing here is intentionally linked to care and work: we coordinate Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) or Partial Hospitalization (PHP) with our clinical partner—typically within 24–48 hours of move-in—so momentum never stalls. Whether you’re pursuing Alcohol Treatment, Opiate Treatment, or broader Drug Rehab goals, you’ll live in a stable, substance-free home with clear expectations, practical support, and a weekly rhythm designed for recovery and employment.

Here’s what to expect from day one:

  • Safe, substance-free housing
A clean, accountable environment with staff support, roommate guidelines, and shared spaces. No drugs or alcohol on site, ever. We use random UDS and breathalyzers to protect the house for everyone.

  • Immediate clinical on-ramp
We’ll help you start or resume IOP (Intensive Outpatient Treatment) or PHP (Partial Hospitalization) with our licensed clinical partner—often within 24–48 hours—and coordinate MAT (methadone, buprenorphine/Suboxone®, naltrexone/Vivitrol®) when clinically appropriate.

  • Recovery-to-Work (R2W) pathway
Our R2W program runs between therapy sessions so treatment stays first. You’ll get job-readiness coaching, ServSafe and OSHA-10 training, and introductions to local employers in catering/hospitality, janitorial/facilities, manufacturing, warehouse, and landscaping—with support through your first 30/60/90 days on the job.

  • Structure that supports success
A consistent weekly schedule, curfew (set hours; work exceptions require prior approval), quiet hours, and chore rotations (bathrooms M/W/F, kitchens daily, weekly deep clean). Adult visitors only during posted hours with sign-in; no minors on the property at any time.

  • Community and accountability
House meetings, peer support, and one-on-one check-ins with staff. We’re firm and fair—focused on safety, progress, and your long-term stability.

Who thrives here?

Individuals 25+ who are ready to live substance-free, engage in IOP/PHP (or start within 48 hours), and either working or ready to work. If you can commit to a sober home with curfew, random testing, and a no drugs/no alcohol standard, you’ll find momentum, structure, and a team invested in your success.
